Forgive yourself & be persistent

We are products of our past but we don't have to be slaves to it..
Forgive yourself and be persistent.
You're not perfect. You're not going to be perfect. You're going to be better.
It is important that you forgive yourself for past weaknesses.
You have been and are forgiven so that you can know better and do better.

He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west." Psalm 103:12

Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake Recipe

Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake

Only 5 ingredients needed for this yummy breakfast dish!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cans (17.5 oz each) Pillsbury Grands! Flaky refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 cup apple pie filling with more fruit (from 21-oz can)

Spray 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix sugar and cinnamon. Remove rolls from cans (cover and refrigerate icing containers) Separate dough into 10 rolls; cut each into 6 pieces. Add roll pieces to a large bowl; drizzle with melted butter, tossing to coat. Add half of the roll pieces to bag with sugar and cinnamon mixture; seal and shake to coat pieces, breaking up any large clumps. Remove from bag, and arrange pieces in baking dish. Repeat for remaining dough; discard any remaining sugar mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight (9 to 12 hours)  Heat oven to 350°F. Remove baking dish from refrigerator. In a small bowl, add apple pie filling, cut apples into 1 inch pieces. (Fill 1 cup apple pie filling with more fruit) Sprinkle on top of the dough, making sure to get it even.  Bake 27 to 32 minutes or until dough is baked through in center and deep golden brown around edges. If starting to brown too much, cover with foil last 5 minutes of baking. Cool 10 minutes. In small microwavable bowl, add icing from both containers. Microwave uncovered on High 15 to 20 seconds or until stirred smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle icing on top before serving.

Optional: can add 1/4 cup pecans before baking

Side note: You don't have to refrigerate over night. (I like to do that for Christmas morning and special days) You may opt out of the refrigerate part and just make it the same night:)

Country Themed Bridal Shower Idea's

My BEST FRIEND was getting married, and she chose ME to be her MAID OF HONOR, of course, who else. lol. Anyways, She was having a country/rustic wedding.. she lives in Illinois..and i was living in California.. BUT i planned her whole bridal shower from Cali. Distance? No problem. HA. Okay, it actually was a problem.. (See, her colors were burgundy and mint green and light green.. Do you know how hard it is to find those colors?? lol. So i decided i would buy paint and make my own stuff.  Meaning i had A LOT to pack.) 3 suitcases and 2 carry ons later... Thankfully out of all my luggage.. only one thing got broke. which was easily fixed by some super glue. Take a stroll with me while i share with you things i made for her Bridal Shower.

i thought these would be cute to make for the 2 flower girls and the jr bridesmaid
 (her three daughters) #DIYfavor

I saw these on Etsy and thought what a cute idea. But would be way cheaper to just make my own.
#DIY #favors #Bachelorettepartyfavors
For the BAR CODE, i did the bridal shower date and wedding date.
#DIY #BachelorettePartyFavors

I painted these and made them for photo props.
And for the photo station i put up streamers for the backdrop.

I bought wooden picture frames and wooden things to use as decor for the shower
and painted them the bridal shower colors.

Rolled silverware in bandannas for a (country theme)

I needed cards for the "Guess The Groom" game, but couldn't find any i liked.. So i found these cards at Michael's on clearance 30 cents! and decided to get scrapbook paper. burlap color. cut hearts. glue. ta da. #DIY

Got the tuxes from the Dollar Tree.

BRIDAL SHOWER DAY
The girls helped me with the location and food. (since i lived in a different state)
and i brought all the decorations

Wedding Dress game: Put the plate on your head. and draw the bride in her wedding dress. Best picture wins prize. i had the bride pick the winner.

GUESS THE PANTIES GAME
Ask everyone to bring a pair of new panties that best represents their personality! The bride has to guess who brought what, and gets to keep them all. If she's wrong, she has to take a drink, if she's right, the guest drinks. (We didn't have any drinking at the Bridal Shower, because her grandma wasn't too fond of drinking. So we changed the game a bit and every time the Bride-to-be guessed wrong, she had to put the panties on her head.) She ended up with her head covered with panties and even panties on her arms. You could play this game at a Bridal Shower or Bachelorette Party.

RING GAME: Please take 1 ring and do not say "Wedding" "Bride" or "Grooms Name"
Take rings from those that do. Who has the most rings at the end, wins a prize.

I didn't want the usual guestbook.. So i thought it would be neat to make a guest-scrap-book. Each person got their own page to write their wishes for the Bride-to-be

Bridal Shower decor for the table

I made Advice cards for the bride-to-be.
"Words of Advice" for the Bride-to-be and "Keys To A Good Marriage":
Instead of buying them on Etsy or somewhere i decided just to make them myself.
And i made a box to put them in, once they were filled out.
Also, did the Date Jar game. Write dates on a stick.
The Bride-to-be picked her favorite date and favorite advice card. And those two winners got prizes

Even simple stuff could make a difference.. like the toothpick holder.
i glued burlap scrapbook paper around it with a cut out heart glued on top of that.
Labeled the silverware-shovels & pitchforks
 (#countrythemebridealshower)

FAVORS TABLE: for the guests to take home goodies.
I made "smore trail mix" and "popcorn" in mason jars

SIGNS: Life is salty, love is sweet, please feel free to take a treat
Thanks for Popping by, Sending you home with Smore Love Happy Trails
I painted the Love sign and glued the cowboy hat on the end of it.
I made both signs out of cardboard and scrapbook paper.

I bought the wooden birdhouse at Michaels and painted it.
Also, got the cute love birds at Michaels.
I framed lyrics to the bride and grooms song.

CANDY BAR
Sign: How Sweet it is to be loved by you

Guests can grab bags and fill up with candy to take home to their kids or (hubbys) lol
Or great to have if there is kids at the Bridal Shower
I stuck with green candy mostly.. VERY hard to find any burgundy candy.
Gummy fish and worms - you are the greatest catch of my life
Twizzlers pull a parts - Rope- (brides name) roped her man
sour punch straw - fishing poles - a reel love
Mints - mint to be (groom and brides names)
Gummy rings  - he put a ring on it

Thumb prints.

Made a sign out of scrapbook paper and framed it
Scarpbook paper- Michaels
Frame- Dollar Tree

Penis shells for macaroni salad - depending on the type of shower it is-and the people invited-  might do for Bachelorette party

Country bridal shower- sweet tea is a must

BUBBLE GUM GAME
Before the shower, interview the groom and ask him questions.
At the shower the bride will half to answer the questions but trying to guess what the grooms answer was. and if she gets the question wrong, she must put a piece of bubble gum in her mouth. This game is hilarious. I think Ashley had almost 20 pieces of gum in her mouth! She couldn't even shut her mouth.

Gift Table

The left and right wine label i bought off Etsy.. but after buying those two.. i figured why not make one myself. Cheaper. So i did. and the middle one is mine.. which i think turned out good. I actually kind of like it better than the two i bought. I just used scrapbook paper and tape.
We drank some "never too hungover" shots, before we started drinking.
No one likes a hangover.

Every Bachelorette party needs penis cookies

And after you've been drinking all night ,what is better, than a SPAGHETTI PIZZA. (drool)

Bachelorette Party Game:
Have the girls sit in a circle. Whoever can open the condom and put it
on their ripe banana the fastest wins a prize.

I made Oh Shit Kits for all the girls. Hangover Bags.
How cute did these turn out?! :)

Besides the Oh Shit Kits, i made goodie bags for all the girls to take home too.

I was so glad i could fly home from California to Illinois to be with my bestie on such an important day! And so happy to have thrown her a Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party!

If you have any questions on things i made or did, or have any idea's of your own, feel free to comment or message me :)
